Fun with Scratch

Hi my name is  Bailey-Trent I was learning how to code on Scratch Junior  but I couldn't go on it. I watched my classmates do theirs and it looked really hard. Me and my mates made a waka or boat to go down this stream by creating our own stream using the drawing tool. I can’t wait to do my own coding on Scratch.   This is a screenshot from my friends coding that I helped with.

Class Trophy

Room 1 won the class of the week because we had been sitting up in Taumata, assembly and kapa haka. We have been resilient by listening to others even when people are trying to distract us. We have been showing respect by showing good manners. We have been responsible by listening at Taumata too. I like winning class of the week.

My raft

Today we have been using google drawing to make a raft. I drew string shapes, a flag, and wooden logs for the bottom of my raft.

A cat stuck in a fire!

Today we have been using Google Slides to create an animation.  I had to copy and paste the slide and then move my fire engine and cat.  The cat was stuck in the fire, the firemen put up their ladder and the cat climbed down the ladder.  The fireman saved the cat.  The fire engine reversed out.

Holiday Writing

in the holidays i was watching  a rapper.

His name is xxxtentacion .

He passed away in a black lamborghini.

It was very sad cause he was my favourite

rapper but i still like his songs. 

My favourite  song of his is look at me and sad. 

After that I had breakfast with my little

brother and my big sister.

Awa around the World

Today we learnt how to travel to different rivers and NZ rivers with Google Earth.  We went to New Zealand, South America, South East Asia, Egypt and China.  

octopus narrative post

The large orange octopus swam  in the blue fish tank. He saw a pink snapper fish hiding under the rock. He chased the snapper Around  the rock and suddenly the big snapper spat out some bubbles in the octopus face. In the end the octopus Camouflage azz a   Rocks .

Today we have been learning to use Stop Motion Animation on our chromebooks.  

The Dragon’s Egg

One day Nick came home with a dragon’s egg.

This was exciting because he tricked them,

it wasn’t an egg but just a painted stone.

GECKO

Geckos can eat little bugs

And they can change colours.

Geckos have very grippy feet so they can climb trees.
